IE Hackathon 2026 is an intensive innovation sprint exclusively for Industrial Engineering Department students. This year's theme focuses on Hyper Automation with AI, leveraging the Freedom of Technology Stack to build cutting-edge solutions.
Over 15 days, participating teams will work on real-world use cases, guided by expert mentors from Sandhata. The top solutions will not only receive prizes but may also be incorporated into the GTM Solution Stack!

Every team will be assigned a dedicated mentor from Sandhata who will guide them throughout the 15-day hackathon sprint. Our mentors bring real-world industry experience and will help you navigate technical challenges, refine your solutions, and prepare for the final presentations.
The hackathon is open to all Industrial Engineering Department students from 1st to 4th year. Teams can register and maximum 20 teams will be selected to participate.
Yes! The Team Head registers on behalf of the team with up to 5 team members. You need to form your team before registering.
While technical skills are helpful, we welcome participants with diverse backgrounds including programming, design, project management, and domain expertise. Mentors will help guide your learning journey!
Maximum 20 teams will be selected based on their registration applications. Selection criteria includes team composition, skills, and proposed approach to Hyperautomation challenges.
The top 3 winning teams will receive certificates and gift vouchers. Additionally, winning solutions may be incorporated into the GTM Solution Stack, giving you real-world impact!
The hackathon sprint runs from Feb 2-20 (15 days). While this is a substantial commitment, you'll have mentor support throughout and can organize your work schedule with your team.
